Hello, my name is

Elizabeth Sauter

Singer, Actress, Vocal Coach, and Music Director.

Elizabeth Sauter is a graduate of New York University with a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance (Concentration in Musical Theatre) and an Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy.  Originally from Appleton, WI, Elizabeth graduated magna cum laude from St. Norbert College with degrees in Music Education and Theatre Studies.  Elizabeth became involved with the arts at a young age, performing with various theatre groups throughout Northeastern Wisconsin as well as singing with the Lawrence Academy of Music Girl Choir program for 10 years.  She began studying piano, voice, and acting; all of which led her to pursue a degree in Music Education during her undergraduate studies.  Elizabeth has teaching experience with grades K-12 specializing in choir, general music as well as theatre.  She has music directing experience at theatres and schools in Wisconsin, New York City as well as with the NYU Tisch Stella Adler Studio and Celebrity Cruise Lines.  Elizabeth has performed in numerous concerts in New York City including performances at Carnegie Hall, 54 Below and The Town Hall.  She has also been seen on two US National Tours and sailing the world on the Celebrity Constellation and Queen Elizabeth.  In addition to performance, Elizabeth also maintains a private voice studio in New York City.

My love of music and arts education inform everything I do. I like to live my live at the intersection of my passions and my skill sets.

I've trained at NYU Steinhardt and believe that grounded training and understanding of fundamental skills leads to freedom of artistic expression.

If you're not doing something that makes you happy, why do it?! With every student and role, I strive to find joy in all pursuits.
